Then look at Ed Potts’ collection of antique tractors. 6. Logging--the old way; Jewell, Camp 18, Collier State Park. See how it was in two old-time logging museums and learn why our forests and resources are being shut down (hear testimony from spotted owl hearings). Pisgah with forest scenery and streams. Come along on a 1 1/2-mile climb. 8. Fort Rock area. Go inside the old volcano crater of Ft. Rock. See Hole-in-the-ground which resembles a large meteor crater. Old ghost town buildings are at Ft. Rock townsite. Also, visit an abandoned ranch, Silver Lake, Summer Lake and it’s game refuge. Last a trip to the top of Table Rock. 9. Christmas Valley area. Visit the scenic Christmas Valley and it’s town, then back by Ft.
